  • What's the problem?
  • If we solved it, how many customers would benefit?
  • With how many customers have you shared this idea?
  • What did they say?
  • Briefly, what is the solution?
  • How much work is it?
  • What are the risks?
  • How confident are you about all this?
• We'll get some people together so you can present it.
• We'll make sure it fits with the broader product visions.
• If we buy it, you'll get two weeks and a tiny team (or just you) to prove your hypothesis.
  • If proven, you'll get a few more people and a bit more time to get to first base.
  • If not proven, we'll shelve it.
• If we don't buy it, we won't spend any more time on it.
